THE PROBLEM
Murad Foundation was created to provide shelter to underprivileged orphans and help them with their journey in life.
We have more than 100 children and youth in our orphanage in Seremban. Our aim is to provide them with the tools they need to build their future.
We want to take 40 of our children to visit Bukit Gambang Safari Park (BGSP). This will be a great opportunity to them to learn about the booming tourism industry so that they will have an overview of their prospects in learning the hospitality and tourism and career within. The reason why we chose BGSP is not ONLY because they are the largest zoo in Malaysia with a full pledge conservation centre, but this visit is also a wish and a dream to those selected orphans that will leave the orphanage once they reach 19 years old.
THE SOLUTION
For this visit we will select 40 orphans who have a great interest in exploring tourism as their main study will give them a huge understanding of this industry, furthermore, upon our first initial discussion with BGSP, the package offered has been discounted for our orphans.
How the funds will be used:
- Educational tour at Bukit Gambang Safari Park, Pahang (40 students), 2D1N (industry partner) = RM4,400
- Transportation for above = RM1,200
