THE PROBLEM

In Year 2021, COVID-19 in Malaysia shows no mercy and it has brought about great misery to millions of people.

With the extension of the stay-at-home order, many families who have lost their source of income are struggling to afford food and basic necessities to survive. 

Our fundraiser aims to support NGOhub in filling the gaps and provide support to families and individuals across Malaysia regardless of citizenship status- with your help!

 

THE SOLUTION

We are fundraising for NGOhub's #BenderaPutih Fund to work together with NGOs which deliver much-needed aid to those in need.

The aid provided through this fund is not limited to dry groceries but may also cover cooked food packages, sanitation items, and support for other basic necessities.

 

THE IMPACT

Families and individuals who will benefit from this Fund include the B40, refugees and asylum seekers, persons with disabilities, and those who have lost their sources of income during the pandemic.

RGE Group had increase the fund matching to 3-to-1, meaning every RM 10 you raised RGE is topping up another RM 30! Each and every contribution rolled bigger!

About the Organization/Project behind this Campaign

April Far East (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd & Apical (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd

This fund raising event is organised by collaborative between APRIL Far East (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Apical (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in support of RGE Founder's Day 2021.

APRIL Far East (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Apical (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd had identified local community - GivingHub in support of #BenderaPutih which dedicated to pandemic relief or community development, and will rally staff to raise funds for the organisation. In addition, RGE will match the total funds raised by 3-to-1 so that we multiply the impact of our support.

And, new this year, we have set up the Global RGE Fund to help Brazil and Indonesia’s fight against COVID-19. These two countries are particularly hard hit by the pandemic right now and need our help the most. Therefore, while 80% of the final amount raised by a business group will go to the local community organization they selected, 20% will go to the Global RGE Fund which will provide additional help to key pandemic relief efforts in Indonesia and Brazil.
