THE PROBLEM

Education gap happens when there is a difference of opportunities and resources. Most of the education gaps are highly associated with social status difference, economic difference, political difference, gender difference and so on. This educational gap will gives an effect towards the whole life of the kids. And the cycle goes on.

THE SOLUTION

The Peer Movement is here to help to break this cycle. We use the easiest and the most practical ways to help. The first phase is to help the small scale schools to provide books and stationeries to the students. 

THE IMPACT

Helps the students to gain more opportunities and can get more resources in education. 

Goal Breakdown

Goal 1 - Books. Amount Needed: MYRRM 500

Goal 2 - Stationeries and School Uniforms. Amount Needed: MYRRM 300

Goal 3 - RM . Amount Needed: MYRRM 200

About the Organization/Project behind this Campaign

The Peer Movement

The Peer Movement is a campaign that aims to spread love and kindness in the local community. We believe that each of us are heroes to another person. With the power of community, we can achieve something big.

In this campaign, our first activity is to donate second-hand and used books to schools. Any books, reference books, notebooks, storybooks etc. After pandemic, books are becoming less popular. Some of the students forgot the joy of reading. Some of them get used of e-books. Some of them cannot afford to buy books.

Hence, here's how you can help with The Peer Movement:

✅ Donate money to us for buying second-hand books

✅ Donate second-hand books to people who need it

The funding will be used to buy new or pre-loved books for the campaign and the book donation will go to libraries in primary schools located in rural area in Johor.
