Cat Beach Sanctuary / Cat Lovers International Society

Cat Beach Penang is a 'no kill' sanctuary that shelters cats rescued from desperate situations. Volunteers help give them loving care in an old wood bungalow on the beach in a quiet fishing village. Many volunteer tasks ranging from Admin, Promo and Social Media to Cat and Kitten Care and Repairs & Renovations. 

Cat Beach is also fast becoming a Tourist Attraction and Educational Centre -- and volunteers can assist with social enterprises like a Cat Cafe and Charity Store as well as creative and artistic projects and events.

The NGO sponsor for Cat Beach is the Cat Lovers International Society (Persuatuan Pencinta Kucing Antarabangsa), a registered nonprofit with Malaysia's Registry of Societies and aims to provide education and support for cats and the people who care for them, both in Penang and worldwide.
