Persatuan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Jing Sun

Jing Sun Welfare Society is a charitable organisation founded by Mr Tan Thim Huat in the year of 2017.

He had always been actively involved in charity for the past 30 years, for it had been his lifelong passion & mission to reach out to the underprivileged community.

Jing Sun Welfare Society is an non-profit organization, which currently provide shelter for 30+ children age from 1-25 years old and 17 elderly. These children came from various unfortunate background, which affected them emotionally, mentally, and psychologically. We have been taking in marginalized children & elderly under our care without monetary charges. There are 5 permanent caretakers in the centre to look after and help out in the centre, with the assistance of few volunteers.

The running cost of the centre is at minimum and needs more than RM20K a month, to sustain its operation, which consist of rental, utilities bills, education fees, medical fees, transportation, living expenses, tuition fees, groceries and staffing. It is collected through various fund-raising activities such as public donations, lion dance, performance & charity events. Due to the limited space, we are running at the maximum capacity of the shelter home.

We hope to give these children a better childhood through a warm home & education, so that they can grow to become young adult who contribute to the society. With the betterment of the society, we wish to carry our mission to purify human mind, by creating a loving, caring and compassionate society.

Through your kind donation and contributions, we will be able to continue in our effort provide better facilities and services in the centre, so that the resident can live a better environment, also to support the medical treatment of Mr Tan so that he can continue to take care of these children.
