Soroptimist International is a Global Volunteer movement of 72,000 club members in 121 countries. Through its worldwide network and United Nations affiliations, it provides a global voice for women working on service projects to: • Uplift the status of women, girls and children in local and national communities • Advance human rights for all – diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) • Promote equality, economic & social development and peace As a Soroptimist, you will have the opportunity to connect with others who share your vision of helping the community. • Support community service projects at local, national and global levels • Advocate for positive changes to influence policy making, legislation and best practices at all levels of society • Network with women and key leaders from different professions, business groups and activists • Acquire and develop leadership and project management skills • Participate in conferences, meetings & programmes – locally, nationally and internationally • Enjoy social activities and bonds of friendship in Malaysia and abroad
