[We love to Speak Up, Project] 🌻

Hi Good Day, I am Seow Thung from AIESEC in Kedah-Perlis, Malaysia! Nice to meet you! 

Project Speak Up basically is a project that aims to increase students' confidence level to speak up to the world. We develop their English Proficiency and enhance their personal development thru workshops and consistent communication initiatives.

I was an Organize Committee President for this project and have been going thru 2 batches Summer and Winter for each in term 2019. For my project, I have 16 Global Volunteers from Vietnam, Egypt, China, and Indonesia. Personally I do love this impactful project so much and felt relevancy, because externally I bring my volunteers to secondary school, deliver workshops, and gave a platform for students to speak up. Internally, this role, as OCP of this project, taught me how to speak up, and previously I was a person that not really confident to speak as well. Because of this project and this role, I learned to be lead by example. 

Lastly, we are from a non-profit organization and I really need people for fundraising is because in Malaysia, especially the Kedah-Perlis area, there's still a lot of students with poor command and lack of good communication abilities, and they really need this platform to build their confidence level.
