The Story

A Very Warm Welcome to The Citizens of Good People,

My name is Vinscent Steve, and I'm currently majoring in Bsc (Hons) Computer Science at Asia Pacific University located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I lost a loved one, a relative, uncle to leukemia. It was not easy seeing your loved ones cry and grieve over someone so close. It is so surreal when it happens to someone you know. Before that time, I was still underinformed about the disease and how it affects people. Now, I realized that Malaysians actually have a low awareness of cancer as it is considered a taboo topic here.

Thus, I started to find volunteering projects that would make a positive impact on people's life. I joined the project Here For You (H4Y) which is in collaboration with our country's NGO known as Cancer Research Malaysia to fundraise for the betterment of treatments and the cures available through research.

There is a saying that goes like this, As one person I CANNOT change the world, but I CAN change the world of one person. I am determined to make a change in someone's world regardless of big or small. Any positive change that can be brought towards society is worth something!

I truly believe and stand by my words that every SUPPORT from YOU is vital towards the research and development for finding the cure for cancer. We need your HELP because YOU will be contributing to saving more LIVES! You are the solution to the problem.

So I humbly need your help as I'm fundraising this campaign to provide aid for the non-profit organization, Cancer Research Malaysia which includes several programs:

1. Aiding of breakthrough research in cancers.
2. Development of new cancer treatments and preventions
3. Patient navigation program (aids underprivileged women in their cancer-fighting journey.
