The Story

"Ocean is more ancient than the mountains, and freighted with the memories and the dreams of Time" quoted by H.P Lovecraft shows the importance of the ocean towards mankind. Hi, I'm Jun Shen or some of you may know me as Shen, and I am an AIESECer in University Malaysia Sabah. An undergraduate who is currently studying in the Land below the Wind and I am an active AIESECer since the fall of 2019. A passionate young adult who believes that leading with a small kind action, we are enable to enlight more youth to participate in giving mother eath and humanity a better future.

Our campaign, Nature Warrior 5.0, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 14- Life Below Water, is a project designed to resolve the water pollution and to recreate awareness to the local community and society to preserve the ocean and the life below water as well as to sustain the biodiversity of marine life. 

In the recent years, climate change and water pollution has been a growing concern of the public. The importance of the ocean towards human kind is truly crucial and undeniable. We are being chocked to death by the amount of plastic and waste we throw away. It is killing our oceans. It is entering into our bodies in the fish we eat. As a strong believer of the SDG, I made sure I lead by an example by acting sustainable and to promote awareness and urge others to follow suit.

"Be part of the solution, not part of the POLLUTION",  all of us are accontable for helping the ocean, it is the greatest gift by Mother Earth. Be part of us and join us in preserving the greatest gift Mother Earth has given by funding our campaign. Help us to raise awareness on this issue. Your little action makes a big difference. The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it, actions speaks louder than words.
