Speak Up Borneo with AIESEC in CU 🥳

The Story

Hello Guys! My name is Timothy Se Ze Ker, currently a newbie at AIESEC in CU. Although I have only been here for months, I can already see the immeasurable contribution that AIESEC has been contributing to society. I am grateful that in today's world, there are many generous individuals, who are willing to put in a small effort or contribution in order to make the world better for the future.

Today, I am presenting you with the project that we are working on to make the world a better place, Speak Up Borneo 8.0!

Why Speak Up Borneo?

Through Speak Up Borneo 8.0, we are aiming to contribute towards SDG 4: Quality Education,

Our objectives are:

To empower underserved students in Malaysia by developing their English proficiency and enhancing their personal development to have a better future.  
 
Students are aware of the importance and benefits of speaking English confidently.

Students gain the confidence to speak English during workshops and in class.

Why do we need to crowdfund?

AIESEC is an international youth-run, non-governmental, and not-for-profit organization. We are not a business organization hence we do not have income. That is why we need to get capital from other people in order for us to launch our projects, that help the community. The following is the cost breakdown for our Speak Up Borneo 8.0 project:

Cost Breakdown

- Project Cost [Laptop for the students]: RM3000
- Administration Fee [Human Resource]: RM1600
- Operation fee [Marketing materials and project materials]: RM600
-Transportation and Facilitator Fee: RM800

We really hope that we can make this project happens, please consider contributing as little as the price of a meal. I truly believe many a little makes a mickle. As long as we are together, there is nothing we cannot achieve!
