The Story

Hello people :) I appreciate if you are reading this little story of me. I am Chia Sin, a new member in AIESEC in Curtin University (CU). This is my first project as a AIESEC member and I wish to make this real and thus help the society in Borneo.

Speak Up Borneo 8.0 is where we want to achieve the SDG 4 or quality education. We wish to deliver better knowledge and at the same time help the secondary school students in Miri, Sarawak to gain more confidence in speaking English. I was not good in speaking English before starting my pre-university study. Therefore, it made me hesitate to communicate and make new friends in the new enviroment. This project created a platform for youth to develop themselves and also start to speak English in earlier age. I belive Speak Up Borneo will enable the secondary students to express their feeling and thoughts in english and thus speak up their opinion bravely in future even they are not in their confort zone. 

This is why we should make this happend, for better youth, for better future. Let us contribute a little bit to achieve this goal!
