The Story
Hi there! I am Nityashri Gananathan, an undergraduate student from University of Malaya. This fundraising campaign is part of the Clean Our Plate Virtual Volunteering Program by AISEC of University of Malaya. This cause is close to my heart as it deals with the fight against food waste that we as a community face on a dailly basis. Food waste has a significant impact towards various environmental issues such as climate change and pollution as well as societal issues such as poverty and hunger.
The main purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to help underprivileged members of our community who's livelihood are affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Your contribution will be used to get basic necessities to those who are in dire need of help. Today, you can do your part as a responsible member of our community and Give for the Hungry!
