Raise Funds for Secondary Education

The Story

Hello guys, It's Arbaz, I have volunteered in many schools and help with many projects regarding education/ child marriage/ early youth education but this is my first time helping MSRI to raise funds. This is another achievement for me to help society in another way. I hope you all will contribute and this contribution will motivate and help me to do more CSR work.

 I believe it is important to have education not only for Malaysians but for everyone. MSRI is a nonprofit organization working with refugees and underprivileged people to help them with their needs, and one way of doing it is through education. 

During this pandemic we have realized that our education is affected in a negative way but what about those who had no facility for the internet and have no digital devices? This reality proves to be very challenging particularly for refugees who are vulnerable groups such as children, women, and the elderly.

MSRI is exploring funding opportunities from corporate bodies and online crowdfunding platforms to support monthly tuition fees and learning materials for our boys. This is because the boys dropping rate is much higher than girls.  

MSRI goals are: 

• Goal 1 - RM125 per student x 100 students x 3 months . Amount Needed: MYR37,500.00
• Goal 2 - Administration fees. Amount Needed: MYR7,500.00

My goal is to raise at least RM1000 which will directly contribute to the MSRI campaign.
