The Story
Hello there ! I'm Dr Lavanya Sivaji, a medical graduate & founder of '4Them Malaysia' an advocacy project focusing on nutrition and health of the Orang Asli community. I have always been passionate about charity works regardless of the ethnicity, nationality, or background of the beneficiaries.
I decided to fundraise for this campaign because food and shelter are basic human needs and no individuals should be deprived of it. Moreover, home rental fee expenses are often overlooked in many donation drives and I am glad that SERUM is fundraising for this cause.
SERUM's 'more than just foodbank' campaign is fundraising to buy fresh foods and to cover rental fee of 10 affected families of Lady Ayaz sewing center run by Pakistani artisans.
The targeted amount for this campaign is RM 10,000 but my personal goal to achieve in 2 weeks is RM 1000. This is merely a minimum target and more amount of donation means we could help more affected families.
