Woman Spirit - Empowring Women, Strive in Business

The Story

GREETINGS! :D I am Terry Clare, a volunteer from AIESEC in Sunway, currently pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. True to my passion in Marketing, I have join AIESEC with the collaboration with Women of Will (WOW) in volunteering for Women's Spirit Program. Here I am, with the sole purpose of raising funds for Women of Will (WOW), whom we share the motives to empower women. 

WOMEN'S SPIRIT is a program targeting B40 group women, who owns a small business. We dedicate our time and energy conducting research on what are the hardships that these strong women are facing, and working hard on trying to provide them a solution. For starters, we managed to know that some women were unable to grow their business due to lack of capital, or they are having a hard time understanding how marketing works. 

Through this volunteering program, I had the oppurtunity to be exposed to see how are women striving in competitive market situation. I was given the oppurtunity to see what are the downside of fighting for your own business. Sometimes, we see small business stalls selling various kinds of food, we may see the situation as they only sell the food. Did it ever come accross to you, what time should they wake up to prepare, and what time do they sleep if busuness runs late? All these women works double job as a business owner and a mother to their family. Don't you feel fired up when you know how hard they work are they for their business?
