A Hope for the Special

The Story

Hi, Im Cyrus the secretary of HOPE FOR AUTISM SOCIETY. Everyone calls me Ms Cyrus / Teacher Cyrus. Hence, being the secretary I'm also a teacher to the special at My Star Autism Project .

I started to venture in this with zero knowledge of special kids, as time grows they have made me believe that anything is possible no matter in what condition. I have learned a lot from them, in how to understand and manage one's behaviour and how to deal with emotions..

As an ASD child, most of them are unable to express themselves, which they need people and the community to wholly accept them or blend them in. That's how trust is build and a way for them to grow in a normal society. What they truly need from the society is No matter how they behave, they are always acceptable in any situation possible. All I can say is, The support we need for them, is the community to believe that they are not abnormal but they are still human just being different.

Our aim is to setup a bakery kitchen for the special, so they could have a chance to brushen in their talent culinary skills. A lil amount contribution, gives a long way of HOPE. <3
