Hello there! I'm Asmita and I'm one of the Malaysian Youth Volunteers for AISEC's 'Get Fit, Get Inclusive'. This project aims to raise awareness about the special needs folks to the public and destigmatize the special needs' harmful stereotypes. In fact, this project is in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal 10, which aims to reduce inequality. 

In Malaysia, the perception of special needs is very misunderstood and harmful, and they are not equipped with enough support. This means that without any sort of awareness, they have to rely on the very little fund or support they have in order to get the accessibility they need.

I am someone who is privileged enough to have the ability to navigate through society's expectations. However, its unfair for the special needs folks to not have the upper hand to manage their lives with the harsh expectations of today's capitalistic society placed onto them.

Thus, I'm here with a mission to help them to bring awareness about their struggles to the public and raise funds for them so they are able to get the accessibility they need.
