The Story

Hi! I am Amira and I'm one of the Malaysian Youth Volunteer (MYV) for 'Get Fit, Get Inclusive' by AIEEC in Sunway. This project aims to raise awareness about the special needs community and to raise funds for the IMC Training Centre for Special Needs.

The goal of the IMC Training Center is to provide special needs children and adults with training so they can learn and improve their motor and sensory skills. Due to the pandemic, the centre is currently dealing with difficulties like a lack of volunteers and funding to run the centre.

The community with special needs needs equal opportunity, thus I'm raising money for this cause. Though different, they are not less alike. In order to assist the community overcome its stigma, I want to be just another helpful hand.
