The Story

Hi, I am Joleine Wong, a Malaysian Youth Volunteer (MYV) for the Get Fit, Get Inclusive (GFGI) 6.0 project organized by AIESEC in Sunway where we aim to: 

• Raise awareness regarding the challenges faced by children with disabilities and the Special Needs community in Malaysia
• Empower society to advocate for Special Needs Children in order to foster a more inclusive Malaysia
• Raise funds through fundraising campaigns 👉 Include ME 4.0 and merchandise sales to support the Special Needs Centers that we worked with such as IMC Pusat Jagaan dan Latihan Insan Istimewa

❣️ Who exactly are IMC Pusat Jagaan dan Latihan Insan Istimewa?

IMC is a passionate training centre devoted to developing children and individuals with Special Needs. Through personalized learning with dedicated staff and volunteers, IMC aims to not only prepare the Special Children to develop the skills that will aid them in society but also instill good moral attitudes in them alongside a replenished sense of self-worth. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IMC is facing various challenges, such as the lack of voluntary manpower and donations, which affects their operation and makes them unable to support the Special Children and orphans that are completely under their guardianship.

💲 COST BREAKDOWN 💲

• The majority of the proceeds earned through this fundraising campaign will go into supporting IMC in continuing their operations

• The remaining sum will be applied by AIESEC to continue supporting and sustaining our future projects around Bandar Sunway.

• The merchandise prices offered to cover both the cost of production and GivingHub’s 4.5% tax, however, it does not cover the cost of shipping.
