The Story

Education opens up a world for a child. The more you know, the more opportunities will open up before you. Today, it is proven that investment in education is seen as a way to promote personal and professional growth, something we all need in life. 

Unfortunately, not everyone has access to such privileges necessary to invest in their education. Some children today go to school fully prepped with books of the latest syllabus,  while some cannot afford any learning materials at all. During the pandemic, some children are joyfully sitting behind their laptop attending online classes, while some cannot afford to own such devices to access the sessions. Some children go to school hungry. Some have to walk miles to arrive. Some don't even have the opportunity to come to school at all. 

Providing equal access to education for these unprivileged children can make a difference in their lives. I believe so, that is why I joined a program led by AIESEC to battle this problem, and hopefully give these children a chance in securing quality education. But this can only be made possible with a joint effort. You can help make a change in these children’s lives, by making a donation to EduQuity. 

EduQuity 1.0 hopes to ; 

1. Provide STEAM and Personal Development Workshops 
2. Provide Electronic Devices - Laptops, Webcams, etc.
3. Provide Cash Incentives to Incentivize the Students

....and raise awareness about the challenges faced by the B40 students and support them with the money we raise.
