Equal Access to Education for All!

The Story

I’m Hanan Azlan, a volunteer for the “Speak Up! 12.0” project organised by AIESEC in Sunway. 

The past few years had been challenging for everyone due to the pandemic. For students, physical learning at school was interrupted, and teaching shifted online to computer screens and Google Classrooms. While online learning was a challenge of its own, I was blessed enough to be able to take the classes comfortably in my home. However, this was not the case for everyone. In particular, the B40 students were at a disadvantage, as they may not have had the proper device nor a stable internet connection to attend classes online. 

I feel strongly towards this cause as I resolutely believe that everyone should have access to equal opportunities in education regardless of their financial background, race or gender. Therefore, the objective of this project is to increase awareness amongst society of the challenges faced by the B40 students.

By donating to this campaign, you’ll be able to make a difference in the life of a student, as the funds will be used to support the targeted beneficiaries. Additionally, the funds will be used to support AIESEC in Sunway’s “Speak Up! 12.0” project, which equips students with STEAM and personal development workshops.
