Tide for Turtles

The Story

We are students from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia participating in the Empower Programme. We are passionate about protecting the environment and supporting meaningful causes that create long-term positive impact. We believe that even as students, we can play an important role in raising awareness and contributing to real-world change.

Our group is fundraising for the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia to help protect endangered sea turtles and conserve their natural habitats. Sea turtles are an essential part of marine ecosystems, yet they face increasing threats due to pollution, climate change, and human activities. This campaign gives us the opportunity to support an organization that is actively making a differences.

This cause makes us feel responsible and inspired. It is worrying to see how vulnerable sea turtles have become, but it also motivates us to take action rather than remain bystanders. Being involved in this campaign allows us to contribute to a cause that truly matters and aligns with our shared values.
