Epic Homes: Building Homes, Bridging Hearts

The Story

We are a group of Heriot-Watt University students who believe that empowerment begins with dignity, opportunity, and community. We are passionate about creating meaningful change by working alongside underserved communities, not just for them. Through this project, we aim to learn, serve, and contribute in ways that create a lasting impact.

We are fundraising to support the construction of safe and stable homes for underprivileged indigenous communities. A home is more than just shelter — it provides security, stability, and a foundation for families to build better futures. This campaign enables us to transform collective compassion into tangible, real-world support.

This cause reminds us of how easily we take necessities for granted. Seeing families live without safe housing deeply moves us and motivates us to act. Being part of this campaign makes us feel hopeful, responsible, and grateful — hopeful that change is possible, responsible to use our position to help others, and grateful for the chance to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
