Green Shell Initiative

The Story

Green Shell Initiative 💚 is a student-run fundraising project in collaboration with the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia (TCS). We as a group share our passion in raising awareness for these unheard voices of the turtles. Turtles such as the terrapins are very endangered and it is our job to help raise the population. Pollution, climate change and global warming, are the causes of our negligence. Our aim is to raise funds through fun, hands-on workshops, as well as selling handmade turtle-inspired batik products designed by women in local Kemaman communities. By helping us out, we will be able to raise the population of our little friends of the green by ensuring a safer habitat. On the other hand, we will be able to support the local women in Kemaman by purchasing their products! If you'd like to support our cause, please do donate! Every penny is greatly appreciated.💕
