The Story
Hello everyone.I am a student at Heriot-Watt University, and I have been closely following the employment challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in Malaysia. Seven Tea One, a locally-certified social enterprise, provides nondiscriminatory employment training and job opportunities for disabled partners, enabling them to earn a living and gain dignity through their own efforts.
This time, I am launching a fundraising campaign to support the coffee barista and service skills training program for young people with disabilities within the “EmPOWER IMPACT Projects 2026” initiative. I have personally witnessed how these individuals, after completing the training, went from being afraid to interact with others to confidently preparing tea drinks for their guests. This transformation deeply moved me.
Every donation you make will be used to purchase training equipment, cover instructor fees, and provide employment support for disabled partners. Their growth requires our collective assistance. Please join me in taking small actions to enable more disabled youth to have the possibility of "decent work and a sustainable life."
