EMPOWERING CHILDREN THROUGH SPORTS

THE PROBLEM

Providing children aged 3-12 in homes/orphanages, the underprivileged, and ones that simply lack the opportunity to play sports with structure and the aid of qualified coaches with Cornerstone Sports Academy. We have picked 15 children from The Lighthouse Children's Welfare Home, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

THE SOLUTION

The raised money will be utilized for children's fees to participate in a chosen sport with Cornerstone Sports Academy, buying equipment for the children, and providing transportation for the selected children if necessary. It provides underprivileged children with a platform to play sports.

This campaign will help us raise the necessary funding to provide this opportunity for at least a year for 15 children. It is our social mission to help these children but we do not have the funds in place to support the children ourselves as we are a startup.

THE IMPACT

Once completed, It will make a difference in the lives of the children as they would not have this opportunity elsewhere. We do not want to just conduct sports clinics for a weekend, we want to provide the best coaching and support to the children for at least 1 year (longer term sports program) as this will truly benefit the children. We will then also would like to grow and branch out and help more children. Our target is to support 500 underprivileged children with our programs.

A successful campaign can sustain a great brand name and increase awareness and justifies what we are doing as feasible. Free sports opportunities for the less fortunate!

Goal Breakdown

Goal 1 - Cornerstone Sports Academy Registration Fees for 15 children. Amount Needed: MYRRM2250

Goal 2 - Cornerstone Sports Academy Participation 11 months for 15 children (RM150 per month per child). Amount Needed: MYRRM24750

Goal 3 - Equipment & Logistics for 15 children. Amount Needed: MYRRM4500
