The Equaman Project is an effort done by Kelab Taekwondo from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kampus Kesihatan with the collaboration from Malaysian Olympism in Action Society (MOiAS) and Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM). The aim of the project is to produce youths with care and capability to create impact to the society through activity related to physical activity and sports. It also serves the purpose to increase awareness regarding the importance of olympism, equality and equity, freedom of speech and discover potential of teenagers in sports’ perspective.

We achieve the aim through a three-phase module. First phase, the National Youth and Sports Symposium 2021 is to give insights and theoretical approach to the participants. The second phase of the project, the Equaman Project Mentorship will be carried out through small scale learning where concetrated focus is given by mentors to the participants to plan their own community projects. In the third phase, participants will execute their project.

The best thing of this project is it does not just stop when the project ends, the effect and impact continue rolling among the local community.
