" Food wastage is a never-ending issue in Malaysia.  According to SWCorp, Malaysians threw away more than 16,667 tonnes of food daily.  About 24% of the food waste is still edible, making them enough to feed about 12 million people for a day! "

Don't bite off more than you can chew

Hi great person, thank you for visiting this site.  I am Fatimah, a volunteer for the Clean Our Plate project run by AIESEC UM.  My purpose in running this awareness campaign and encouraging you to contribute together is to bring up the issue of food waste and hunger where they are closely linked to each other.  This is because, when you often waste it has the effect of causing people to need more hunger. 

Through this crowdfunding campaign, your donation totally will useful to help people out there. 70% from your donation will give to Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia that use for donate food, and 30% will use for other food waste project. For your information, Clean Our Plate AIESEC in University of Malaya will collaborate with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia to raise the fund which will be used to purchase food donation items for the underprivileged end beneficiary, with the goal of impacting around 150 communities that assist them  during this difficult pandemic period.

Because of that, please  reduce food waste and let's donate to those in need to fill their hungry stomachs out there.

A hero doesn’t need power. He just needs a generous heart.  Let stop wasting for the sake of the continuity of the stomach outside.
