The Story

Hi, my name is John Ting and I’m currently undergoing Chemical Engineering at UTM. The reason I joined Clean Our Plate project is due to the awareness of food waste issues that have grown seriously from day to day. The problem can be seen from street all way to the economic fluctuations and this have brought enormous impact in everyone lives. Thus, action should be implemented to cease the issue. 

Do you know that up to 10% of global greenhouse gases comes from food that is produced, but not eaten? The data is reported from UNEP in 2021. The responsibility lies in each and everyone to reduce the root cause of climate change. And it can be started by cleaning the plate and undergo food composting. 

The benefit of zero good waste is zero carbon footprint, revert economic crisis, zero hunger issue and many more to come.
