1. ABOUT US: Our Passion for Community Welfare

We are a team of dedicated students from Heriot-Watt University, currently undertaking the "Self-Empowerment and Social Responsibility" programme. Beyond our academic responsibilities, we are deeply passionate about social equity and the well-being of the vulnerable within our community. We believe that a society is only as strong as its support for those in need. Our passion lies in the concept of "active compassion"—the belief that through collective effort, we can provide the underprivileged with the necessary support to overcome their challenges and lead a life of dignity.

2. WHY WE ARE FUNDRAISING: Supporting Jin Sun Welfare Society

We are fundraising specifically for the Jin Sun Welfare Society. This organization plays a vital role in providing care and assistance to the underprivileged and individuals with special needs. However, maintaining such a society requires consistent resources to ensure that every beneficiary receives adequate care, nutrition, and vocational guidance. We are raising funds to help Jin Sun Welfare Society improve their facilities and provide better living conditions for their residents. Our goal is to ensure that the "Golden Sun" (Jin Sun) of hope continues to shine on every individual who seeks refuge and support within their walls.
